Some Regerts. In Alcoholics Anonymous they say, “We shall not regret the past, nor seek to shut the door on it.” Why they need to use such fancy words is not clear, and the point is that all of our mistakes and troubles have brought us to this moment, a moment when we’re seeking to be better people. In reality, we’ve all probably got a thing or two we wish we could get a mulligan on.
