Oh, Italy, cut it out. You’re just too goddamned cute. For those unaware of L’Eroica, it’s a sort of OG gravel event. Riders are required to ride period bicycles and encouraged to don kit of a similar vintage. This is basically bike nerd LARPing for the local and/or reasonably affluent.
You might think I’m against it, based on what I just wrote, but I’m not. I’m all for it. Anyone who wants to LARP, in whatever fashion makes sense to them, is cool by me.
