Video – Enter Gravel Heaven

It’s New York City’s Rubber n’ Road guys, back again, to show us the kind of riding we can do with a little planning and a little adventure in our hearts. I confess I’m intrigued by the cyclists of New York City. On the one hand, there are the pitfalls of riding in Manhattan traffic (not to mention the ever-more-crowded boroughs). Then there is the vibrant, but possibly monotonous and proscribed, culture of riding in Central Park.

These guys, of course, love to ride the gravel, and for that, you need another idea, a train, and the legs to climb some steep, steep dirt.

The riding around New Paltz, NY is great. From the Gunks to the Walkill Trail and the Walkway over the Hudson, something for every type of cyclist.
