This video is, for me, partially an excuse to highlight Cory Coffey, a badass, a legend, a pioneer, etc., etc. Add some of your own superlatives. She won the women’s street BMX world championships twice, 2004 and 2005, whereupon they stopped having it. Why? I don’t know. She’s also the first woman to do a backflip on a BMX bike.
The second reason I love this video is that Coffey has done a thing I dream of, in fact, I have ALWAYS dreamed of, which is building a bike park in my backyard. As a kid, I wanted this and root beer to come out of the kitchen sink faucet.
