Sometimes 2+2=5. The basic premise of today’s show is the basic premise of the show, by which we mean that we’ve been hearing from people who find whatever it is we’re doing here helpful. They’re inspired or encouraged or they learn something about themselves as we talk about ourselves and our challenges. It’s weird. Neither of us is a therapist. We’re just a pair of ja-mokes, ja-moking around for an hour or so. So why does it work, for us AND for other people?

How is it that our music trajectories intersect as often as they do? I literally had an email ready to go last week with the suggestion of Kowloon Walled City included which I’ve been digging of late. I do not know why, but despite their oppressive sound I detect a positive vibe buried within the crushing dread they churn. Hell, I even used them for some workout tuneage. As an added bonus since I use bone-conduction headphones I can enjoy the bizarre mashup b/t them and the insipid pop doo doo playing through the gym sound system. Also I think the monkey thing while entertaining at times would get old, whereas just having a feeder which sounds like a water-bottle contraption would be easier to manage and be more efficient. Psychopath!!!
