PNW FTW! Or maybe not. I don’t know, grips like other contact points are like underwear. Everyone has their thing. Might I suggest two avenues to explore. First, a thicker more padded grip like the PNW Loam XLs or the Sensus Meaty Paws might do it for you. Additionally, I know a number of riders that swear by the damping properties of Revgrips. Second, a more compliant bar like the OneUp carbon, PNW Loam carbon, Roost Ti bar (real fancy) or a simple alloy 31.8 bars like the Black Label series from Deity might just allow you to reach steering Nirvana.
