This year’s Tour de France goes to the legendary Hautacam climb on Stage 12. Many are expecting the race to blow up there. It’s long and steep and attritional, tailor made for the strongest riders to put time into their rivals. Whoever can force themselves off the front there will watch everyone else go backwards very quickly. It’s a heartbreaker. It’s also where Jonas Vingegaard with a huge team effort behind him, last vanquished Tadej Pogacar.
