In my mind, Lachlan Morton is one of the most interesting professional cyclists on the scene today. Why? Well, he decided the pro peloton wasn’t really for him, and then he set about making a different sort of career, one where he earns a living doing massive, brain-bending rides. Like racing the TdF peloton, solo. Like riding the entire perimeter of Australia. Like winning Unbound Gravel.
The other thing I really like about him is that he seems to have no ego and lots of fun (not to mention lots and lots of suffering).
