There is something really special happening in Kenya, in all of Africa, but in Kenya especially. We have featured Team Amani before, a team based in the the Rift Valley known mainly as a spiritual home for distance runners. Team Amani is behind some of Africa’s new, premier gravel racing events, but the team is also traveling, exposing its riders to races in Europe and North America. Their top athlete, Sule Kangani, died, tragically, while racing in Vermont last year.
This video, narrated by his son, demonstrates Team Amani’s continued commitment to growing the size and scope of African cycling, while simultaneously showcasing one of the more beautiful places on Earth.
