The human brain does physics all the time, by which I mean, it calculates on a subconscious level how gravity and balance interplay to keep the body upright. That is precognitive. We don’t know how we do it, but we do it, and this is equally true on a bike.
This video illuminates some of the misconceptions we have about bicycle steering and points out some of the machine’s genius mechanical innovations, likely discovered entirely by mistake.
My favorite parts were the ghost rides, which are, to me, never not funny.
