I am an unabashed lover of Mexico and the Mexican people. Because some of my best friends in the world are Mexican, I have been fortunate to spend long stretches of time there and to have seen the big city, the countryside and the jungle-hemmed coasts. For me, the mountain biking and rider (Kilian Bron for Commencal) are only incidental to what’s going on here. The star is Mexico.

Sadly, I have not ridden many of these spots, and despite the negative coverage Mexico gets in so much of the American press, I very much hope to get there one day to experience even a fraction of the incredible things you see here.
