The Sunk Time Fallacy. People have a funny way of plowing their energy into bad ideas, and once they’ve made that initial investment, they keep going just to prove to themselves that the original idea wasn’t a bad one. We do this with jobs, relationships, and religions. The fear of change is one factor. Ego is another. Just think about how much more Candy Crush Saga we could play if we had that time back though.
