Euphoric Recall. Many of us of a certain age cling to the idea that things used to be better than they were. For example, we wax nostalgic about seeing Repo Man for the first time in Trisha Thomas’s living room in 1985 but forget that Ronald Reagan was busy ruining the world at the time. Or, we revel in memories of buying flannels for $1 each at the AmVets on Brighton Avenue, then copping 5 good used records for $12 across the street but forget that we were sloshing around in the final days of alcoholism that whole time. So today is about recalling some of our fondest memories and then ruining them with some small dose of reality.

Would you rather- fight Mick Foley in a cage match, or, listen to Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas is you” at the top of the hour, every hour until Christmas?
Easy. Mick Foley. In fact, I’d rather hear him sing that song than Mariah. But that’s me.
