My road cycling background is rooted in touring and commuting. I started using 32s long before that was a thing. I’m a Clydesdale class rider. I consume way too much cycling media-meaning I am bombarded with how great road tubeless is and with stories of epic road tubeless failures. I ride about 5,000 road miles a year and have not had a flat in 3+ years. Not bad for the crap that passed for roads in upstate NY. Kevlar belted Panaracer Paselas and Schwalbe Marathons keep the air where it’s supposed to be.
