My cycling data acquisition and recording started with a Huret odometer, the one with the tiny rubber band from the hub to the little grey box on the fork coupled with a Timex watch. Somewhere in the last 10 years I added in Ride With GPS-which links to Garmin Connect. I think I downloaded Strava and tried it for a couple of rides-couldn’t see the appeal. So RWGPS and Garmin are fine for me. To those who say “If it’s not on Strava it didn’t happen” I guess my nearly 175,000 miles didn’t happen.
