Patria Vandermark is the moving force behind Ride Headquarters, a mobile bike shop and ride organizer in New England. The Colorado native raced at an elite level before chucking it all to go to the land of her forebears. She moved to Italy, learned the language and then began leading bike tours for American visitors. At CU Boulder she earned a degree in mechanical engineering; she says working on bikes is both more fulfilling and more fun.
