Sea Otter Classic Announces Official Return To Monterey, CA, This October

In an email sent out today, the legendary Sea Otter Classic, held in Monterey, California, has officially announced it will indeed be returning this coming October 7 -10 to its original location. The deep diving, well written press release was so well written it needed no actual words, just an image (click above to enlarge) with the dates. So there ya go. The Sea Otter Classic was founded by Frank Yohannan and Lou Rudolph with its inaugural event being held in April 1991 and a second a year later in 1992. Those first two events were named the Laguna Seca Challenge. The name was changed to the Sea Otter Classic in 1993 and has been held annually at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, CA, usually in March or April ever since. Last year it was postponed to October and later cancelled due to COVID restrictions. The new 2021 dates remain in October and are thus far scheduled to proceed as planned.
